Batch Image Compression
Compress JPEG, PNG, WebP and AVIF images in batch. Adjust output quality or use lossless optimization to shrink files while keeping visual quality.
All processing runs locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded — they never leave your device.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does compression reduce image quality?
JPEG, WebP and AVIF are lossy: a lower quality value means a smaller file but more visible artifacts. PNG uses lossless optimization by default and loses no quality.
What quality value should I use?
75–85 is a good default for sharing, 60–80 for the web. If you need strict fidelity, enable lossless (PNG) or go above 90.
What is "Effort"?
It controls how hard the AVIF encoder searches. Higher values compress more thoroughly and produce smaller files, but take longer. It does not affect quality.
How large can files be? Can I batch?
You can add many images at once and they are processed automatically in sequence. Larger files use more memory, so keep a single batch within a few hundred MB.
Where are the compressed images?
Results live only in browser memory. Download them individually or use "Download all". Refreshing the page discards them.
